About Irene Zabytko:
IRENE ZABYTKO is a writer and content creator on the YouTube channel, The Literary Groupie. She is a past recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award in Ukraine and other fellowships.
Her first novel, THE SKY UNWASHED about Chornobyl, was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Book, The e-book version was rated Number One on Amazon.com and appeared on “The New York Times Bestseller E-Books List.”
Her short story collection, WHEN LUBA LEAVES HOME received a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award.
She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Vermont College and teaches fiction at Gotham Writers’ Workshop.
